Meatball Vermicelli Soup

Recipe for Meatball Vermicelli Soup

Ingredients:

  • Chicken meat 300 grams, cut into pieces
  • Shrimp 100 grams, cut into pieces
  • Dry vermicelli 100 grams, boiled
  • Garlic 2 cloves
    Fried shallots 2 tablespoons
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ice cubes 60 grams
  • Carrots 50 grams, cut into small cubes
  • Tapioca flour 100 grams
  • Celery 1 stalk, chopped Soup:
  • Water 2 liter meatball stew
  • 4 red onions, crushed
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 stalk of spring onion, cut into 1 cm
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Toppings:

• Fried shallots
• Lime
• Boiled chili sauce

How to make Meatball Vermicelli Soup:

  1. Mix chicken with shrimp, garlic, shallots, salt, pepper, and ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Remove.
  2. Mix meatball mixture with tapioca flour, stir well. Add carrots, vermicelli and celery, stir until smooth.
  3. Take one tablespoon of meatball mixture, form into balls. Do this until the dough runs out. Boil in boiling water until it floats and is cooked, remove. Set aside.
  4. Soup: saute shallots and garlic until fragrant, remove. Pour into meatball water, add celery, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Boil until boiling, add spring onions, remove.
  5. Place the meatballs in a serving bowl, pour the sauce and sprinkle with fried onions.
  6. Serve warm with lime and chili sauce.
